As the Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Goddard Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, I would like to invite you to please take a moment to review the exhibits, performances, and events listed on this website. As you can see, we are offering exceptional programming for the upcoming 2007-2008 season which includes internationally recognized exhibits and performances.
Memberships are an important part of the funding needed so that we may continue bringing cultural opportunities to our community. I am asking you to support this worthwhile organization by becoming a member or renewing your membership with the Goddard Center.
As you may notice while looking at our website, many of our programs have expanded. Listed below are just a few examples:
- The Center now features internationally recognized touring exhibits. This year's exhibits include Cuba Oriente from Washington, D.C., Jack Dowd out of New York and Charles Rushton Photography in cooperation with the University of Oklahoma.
- The Art Studios programming continues to grow. New to the Studios are classes in Decoupage and Jewelry making. We continue to offer youth programming throughout the year. The Center's Outreach Program offers instruction in the visual arts and modern dance to organizations in the community.
- The Center's 2007-2008 performance schedule includes internationally recognized performances. We were very pleased to secure Eileen Ivers, An Irish Christmas, Ailey II International Dance, and the Grammy-nominated Borealis Wind Quintet.
Please take a moment to complete our membership application. With your help we can continue to make the Goddard Center a repository of the past and a window into the future of artistic achievement.
Sincerely,
Howard Drew
Membership Committee Chair
