Pottery – Hand
Getting dirty has never been

Creating objects from clay can
be a challenging and fun
learning experience! Create
small sculptures by using coils,
slabs, and adding unique
textures. Vase-like vessels,
figures and animal whistles are
some of the projects you will
explore. Students will create
their own piece of pottery on
June 22 and then they will glaze
it July 13!

Explore the methods of drawing
manga, a style of drawing that
is based on the art of Japanese
comic books. Students will focus
on the fundamentals of drawing,
as well as working on drawing
faces and expressions, basic
anatomy, figure drawing and
character design. Each workshop
will include different projects.
All materials will be provided,
however students are encouraged
to bring their own sketchbooks.

world is full of light and
colors! In this workshop,
students will use techniques
like color blending and
highlighting to capture vibrant
colors on paper. Students will
design their own composition,
create their own piece of art
and finish with a one-day
masterpiece. All materials

your spot in the course. Due to instructor and
administrative costs, no refunds will be given on
withdrawals occurring less than 5 business days before
the class meeting. Withdrawals due to illness or family
emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To
