flute music from the powwow and folk festival, into the

University Chorale

School of Music presents The University Chorale Holiday
Extravaganza. University Chorale is an advanced vocal
ensemble comprised primarily of graduate and advanced
undergraduate music students. Chorale performs twice a
year with the Accademia Filarmonica, a professional
orchestra, and also performs a cappella concerts both on
and off campus. Members of University Chorale have
opportunities to participate in national and
international performance tours. In addition to their
evening performance, the University Chorale will help
the City of Ardmore kick-off its holiday season with a
15-minute free public performance at Central Park prior
to the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree.

Hailing from Ireland’s
historic County Waterford, DANÚ is one of the leading
traditional Irish ensembles of today. Their standing
room only concerts throughout Ireland feature
high-energy performances and a mix of ancient Irish
music and new repertoire. This six member ensemble
incorporates the flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button
accordion, bouzouki, and vocals (Irish and English) in
their music.

Bravo Brass Quintet

Oklahoma’s own Bravo
Brass Quintet is a chamber ensemble composed of
full-time, professional brass musicians from the Tulsa
Philharmonic. Members of the quintet hold degrees from
the Julliard School of Music, the Eastman School of
Music, Duquesne University, the San Francisco
Conservatory and the University of Tulsa. Bravo Brass
performs a full range of musical styles including
baroque, light classics, jazz, contemporary and
Broadway.
