Who We Are
Located in Ardmore, Oklahoma; The Charles B. Goddard Center for the Visual and Performing Arts was established in 1970 in memory of Charles B. Goddard by his wife, Ethel Goddard.
The Center was established to provide cultural experiences and art education to residents of South-Central Oklahoma. The Center includes a visual art museum, a performing arts theater, a professional film projection system, and an art studios facility.
We are a member of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce and work with Ardmore Main Street Authority and Ardmore Tourism Authority to help stimulate the local economy.
With support from the community, Oklahoma Arts Council, and Mid America Art Alliance, the Center provides education and enjoyment of the arts. Internationally recognized exhibits and touring performances as well as art education classes and a community outreach program are all supported by the Center’s budget with additional funding from both private and public sources |
